BELLINZONA – Impresa dell’ACB. I ragazzi di Valerio Jemmi sconfiggono l’Yverdon 1° in campionato che era ancora imbattuto. Per la prima volta, i granata riescono ad avere la meglio contro i biancoverdi che, grazie al successo di un inarrestabile Carouge contro il Rapperswil, mantengono il massimo vantaggio sulle inseguitrici. Il Bellinzona, invece, sale al 7° posto solitario e si porta a meno 13 dalla vetta.
Un successo che vale tantissimo, ma molto meno di quanto avrebbe potuto valere all’inizio della stagione. Mancano ancora 14 partite alla fine del campionato e domenica prossima, prima della pausa invernale, ci sarà un’altra gara fondamentale al “Comunale” per continuare a risalire la china: contro il Köniz, che ha pareggiato 0-0 in casa del Cham, bisognerà centrare di nuovo i 3 punti.
Senza il grande ex Ciarrocchi infortunato, i vodesi creano subito una palla-gol con Peyretti (3’); poi ci prova anche Magnetti (13’). Ma al 17’ arriva proprio una punizione magistrale dello stesso “Gas” che dai 20 metri, leggermente spostato sulla destra, decide di calciare sul palo del portiere e la mette esattamente all’incrocio dei pali con l’ausilio della traversa, dove Martin non riesce ad arrivare.
Passano sette giri di orologio e Melazzi si fa 60 metri palla al piede superando in velocità le maglie biancoverdi, conclusione a incrociare verso il secondo palo pericolosissima del numero 26 che sfiora il raddoppio. Nella ripresa, i padroni di casa controllano la partita e, in superiorità numerica dal 76′ per l’espulsione di Zeneli, fanno passare il tempo fino al triplice fischio.
